You cannot upgrade a 'd' bootrom to a 'n' bootrom. 'd' bootrom needs to go with 'd' system software and visi versa.

Ok, I didn't mention that the original Boot-Rom ( labeled as 'C' ) was already replaced with a new one ( labeled 'DN' ). But the SST still says model found '5000d' and so the firmware for the selected model '5000n' does not fit. Shouldn't the SST or even the copier itself see an '5000dn' version if the Boot-Rom was really a '5000DN'? I doubt if the new boot rom is really a 'dn', it was taken from an other copier, but maybe the tech mixed it up with another rom, could he?
