Huawei Mu733 Driver Windows 8
I have an Iconia W511 running the Windows 8.1 preview. The device has an inbuilt MU733 running firmware 12.103.17.03. Network is Telstra. When the device is put to Connected Standby with the Mobile Broadband connection enabled, sometimes when it wake the connection is in a dead state. On PC Settings, there is no mobile broadband option. Only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options (On/Off) Are you using any third party security software? I am using Windows Defender alone. FYI, I did not installed Norton internet security or any other third party security software. Has it ever worked earlier? It is a brand new unit that I got just 3 days ago.
I just want to make sure before jumping straight to the defective unit. FYI, I have also tried to full refresh the unit which took quite some time to reinstall everything again. But after it is completed, I still could not see the mobile broadband option. Beside hardware/ SIM slot defect/ failure, is it possible it is due to software/ application failure?
Appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. Hi, I have the same problem with the Ativ 500 Smart PC. The sim worked perfectly for a day then stopped working. I feel it was after the machine did various updates. Sometimes the device manager was showing an error with the Huwaei mobile driver.
Then if I uninstalled it and scanned again, it would show a generic driver instead. Then after a couple of times it would find it again correctly and install it. But then stuck again on Insert Sin even though there is one in there. Thanks, David.
Hi, As you have tried most of the steps to correct the issue and still the issue persists you may go through the steps from the help article from ATIV Smart PC Pro and check if it helps. Hi, For anyone that has this problem, I think there may be a fix on its way. My catalogue of problems with this one problem dramatically increased when the machine was switched for another unit which had exactly the same problem. However, Digicare (partners of Samsung) sent me a firmware fix that Samsung is about to release for this specific problem. Its only been installed for a day but so far, so good. (a day isn't long to test, but normally the mobile hardware is lost every few hours, so I'm hoping this is it). The fix you are looking for is MU733Update_12.103.17.10.00.
