Super Sonic Generations is a mod for Sonic Generations, created. Description: In this PC-exclusive graphics mod for Sonic Generations, 'Super' Forms are the norm. And then the game actually plays a bit differently once you start using skills and the Hyper Sonic transformation. Features: The models for Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, Classic Tails, Modern Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, and Blaze have been modified, making them resemble their Super Forms (or Burning Form, in Blaze's case.) Classic Metal Sonic's model has been changed into a 'Classic' version of Neo Metal Sonic (from Sonic Heroes.) The Acceleration skill gives a much greater Speed increase than it does in the un-modded game. The Barrier, Ring Time, Power Sneakers, and the 3 elemental shields can all be used 5 times within a single stage, instead of only once or twice.
Modern 'Super' Sonic can now utilize the Barrier, Ring Time, Power Sneakers, Invincible Start, and the 3 Elemental Shield skills. Do note that Modern 'Super' Sonic is unable to utilize the extra 'jumps' granted by the Elemental Shields. The 'Super Sonic' skill has been changed into a 'Hyper Sonic' skill. Upon collecting 50 rings while using this skill, either version of 'Super' Sonic can use the Super Emeralds to transform into Hyper Sonic (from Sonic 3 & Knuckles.) Hyper Sonic is a LOT faster than normal, and only loses 1 ring every second (instead of losing 2 or 4 rings per second.) However, the increased speed can make Hyper Sonic a bit more difficult to control. A vast majority of the game's HUD assets have been remade at a higher resolution, making them look better at 1080p/1440p.

We can all agree that this game isn't great but that doesn't mean we should just forget about it. It is infamous of glitches being at every corner. Although it is riddled with bugs, it is not unplayable for I beaten it twice.
However, why I want it on the PC via Steam is not because I am some masochist, its because I am hopeful of the modding community. Modding communities have done things like this before; they modded buggy and broken games to be the original developers aspirations for it. I would love there to be one day a mod in the Steam Workshop for Sonic 06' to play this game with a new light. I could be at the ranks of SA 1 and 2. But some also want to play it for how bad it is originally.
The notoriety itself made this game memorable and would be an experience some want to go through. Also it would be nice to have Sonic06 in my collection. 2006 was going to be on PC ( on Sonic Riders on PC manual, on the back cover, there's a cover of 2006 with both PS3, X360 and PC DVD ) but it was canceled, some says beacuse specs were too high for PC's at these times and some said that creators couldn't even make console version on time and PC was dropped, if it wouldn't, well, game would look even worse.
